        good,quite, fast and economical hdd

        it arrives quickly. I tested it using Western Digital Diagnostics, got the results good. Sequential read/write speed all ~150MB/s, which is pretty quick to me. Thanks, may buy it again.

        Great product. The old one lasted 7 years.

        I replaced the hard drive on my Tivo. It was the exact same size and model as the existing. It went without a hitch and was easy. Instructions are on YouTube.

        Like new

        Comparitive pricing put this unit at around 50% the cost of competitors. This would be a ref flag for me normally but I took a chance. After receiving the drive and installing it in a 4 disk array, it did and continues to perform perfectly, achieving the same benchmark data as the other 3 drives (all the same make model). I am very pleased with the purchase

        Fun expirement

        I bought the 25 as-is drives. Beforehand the seller told me they were mostly dead. I wanted dead drives to learn drive testing skills. I ended up with 2 good drives. All other failed smart check immediately. So they won’t work in most scenarios. 5-6 I could slow format 2.5 TB and passed all partition testing after. 5-6 dead/untestable. The rest failed various tests and couldn’t be slow formatted. I did my testing over a few weeks with three computers one disk at a time per computer.
