Product Information
This 10-port hub by Plugable Technologies is an external USB that connects up to 10 other devices. Usage of this Plugable hub eliminates cord clutter on or behind a desk. All of the port connections are on the front or back of the device for easy access. In addition, no drivers are required for installation of this external USB hub, since it is a plug-and-play device. The Plugable hub is compatible with Windows, Linux, Xbox, and Mac operating systems, along with a host of others. Data downstream rates with this 10-port hub can be as fast as 480 Mbps. Some of the technical specifications of this external USB hub include overcurrent detection, overcurrent protection, a 2.5-amp power adapter, and a Terminus Technology chipset. Furthermore, an LED light bar acts as the power indicator for this Plugable hub, and a maximum power of 0.5 amps is generated. This USB hub works great for multiple device connectivity in small offices or in homes with several multimedia or PC devices.
