    A good, low cost upgrade.

    This is an upgrade from an entry level, two core cpu. A definite upgrade. Actually wanted a new pc or at least a1090T, but they're overpriced, so I tried this 1055T at much less cost. I had tried switching from 4 to 8 GB of RAM and that helped a bit, but it still wasn't enough. Even the 1090 has a hard time keeping up with most modern cpus, so I didn't expect too much from this. Fortunately, videos that used to stutter at low resolution now play good at full HD res. No more browser freezing because of too many tabs open. This made enough of a difference that this ten year old pc will be good for a few more years.

    This is grate CPU undamaged had a little trouble at first getting the CPU to fit in my motherboard socket this was used item one of the pins might have been out of alignment did finely get it to seat has worked grate so far would recommend to friend or family Thank you

    Great upgrade cpu - 6 cores - plex media or home dlna server or storage.

    Max out your AM2+/AM3 motherboard. Great Price. CPU temperature doesn't show up but cooler temp remaining normal. 40-45c most of the time. Great for Plex Server with decent video card.
