It would protect it against anything short of nuclear war. The item was in better conition than described. As a used item it was a tremendous value. He shipped it very fast. FedEx adjusted the delivery several times but was still acceptable. An important note - any issues with FedEx were not Jordan's problem. He got it in the system in record time.
