    Best in wall timer

    Replaces same model that lasted 27 years . The newer timers are difficult to program and when brief power outage, this does not require reprogramming. Easy to set up changes like DST. I believe they stopped making this model. The best price and availability was through eBay.

    Trippers of The Same Color

    The instructions accompanying these switches call for "silver" color for ON operation, and "brass" color for OFF operation. The problem was that all trippers were of the same color "silver". I had to go through a number of trials to get them to work. The switches are fine once you get the right trippers in place.

    Got to be a better (less expensive) way to turn lights on & Off

    We're on the 3rd. Intermatic E1020 Timer after 11 years, after about 5 years the ones we had got too loud , could hear it in other rooms of the house, got to be a less expensive way to turn window lights on and off ?

    It's okay but runs very loud

    The timer works as expected. However, this timer makes a continuous loud grinding type sound coming from the electric clock part. It is quite a bit louder than the original 18 year old unit was.
