I have had this book for years but in my recent move lost it. So ordering the same book took me right back to my bread making skills with the confidence James Beard instilled all those years ago. This is the original book I had when it was first published. The information and illustrations have made me appear to be an expert, and I owe it all to James Beard and this book, Beard on Bread. I am delighted to find this hardback edition I had. There are more recipes for many of the starndard varieties of bread I had not tried.
