        True picture of the early 80s

        "The Normal Heart" shows a true picture of the AIDS crisis of the late 70s and early 80s. HBO should be commended again for this portrayal . About 10-15 years ago they [HBO] made "Longtime Companion" which also depicted the early AIDS crisis. The acting in "The Normal Heart" is above reproach , they each embody the characters they portray. Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, and Julia Roberts do an outstanding job, along with Jim Parsons. Gay or straight this movie is not to be missed!
