Great Value for Your Money
As I see any fisheye lens as a fun product, designed deliberately to distort reality, I would never choose one to replace a good wide-angle lens. We buy sophisticated editing programs to get rid of unwanted distortion imposed by wide-angle lenses. Just the opposite is true of fisheyes, where we seek artistic distortion. The build quality on this Rokinon is fantastic and so are the results. Personally, considering its purpose, I can see no reason for investing in a more expensive fisheye lens.
