    Not Exile, but still bloody great!!

    It was never going to be easy for the Stones to follow up Exile on Main St., but Goats Head Soup is an admirable and worthy effort. Their last collaboration with producer Jimmy Miller features standout tracks in the form of the classic ballad "Angie", the rocking "Silver Train" and, of course, the controversial back-handed tribute to groupies "Star Star". Another performance worth a listen is Keith's lead vocal on "Coming Down Again", very sweet. Many have questioned the quality of the Stones post-Exile 70s albums which leads some people to not bother giving them a listen, which is a terrible shame as they're missing out on some great, unique and often timeless music.
