    A good portable DVD player

    If you are looking for a quality portable DVD player, this is the only one out there. I tried a Sylvania version but it didn't work well and I returned it. This device made by Sony is fairly costly, but it seems reliable and with no other options, I recommend it highly if you are looking for a portable DVD player.

    Good player

    Picture quality & build is good, unfortunately the menu is in Japanese so many of the functions cannot be used. It also doesn’t play regular DVD’s. Saying this, it plays blue Ray discs fine.

    Great player at a great price.

    A great Sony product, as usual. The screen picture is extremely sharp and has deep colors. The fact that I can use this when the power goes out is the best part. Now I can watch a movie until the power goes back on.

    Better than expected.

    Had this on Christmas vacation and visiting friends and had this device so that I could watch a movie while in flight. Got to friends home and they did not have a blue ray player for their HD television, so we hooked this up to watch a couple of movies that I had brought along and it worked flawlessly. I just like that it can do that.
