Epic and Stunning!
Red Cliff is perhaps one of my top five favorite movies of all time. The story is rich and engaging. The cinematography is absolutely breathtaking. This movie pays especial attention to detail in costumes, weaponry, locales, etc. and the acting is quite well done. I also loved the addition of humor in many parts of the movie. I also appreciated the battle sequences as they were intense and action packed, but not overly drawn out and gory simply for gore's sake. The movie's story is what really got me and it made we think as I was absolutely enthralled with the beauty that was presented on the screen.
