Ashton Kutcher stars in this romantic comedy about a tumultuous night in the life of a regular guy. Tom (Kutcher) works a menial position at one of Chicago's biggest publishing houses. Terrified of his maniacal boss, Jack Taylor (Terence Stamp), Tom also daydreams about Jack's gorgeous daughter, Lisa (Tara Reid). One day, Lisa asks Tom to do her a favor and show up at her dad's house later that night. He thinks he's taking her to a party, but when he gets there, he realizes his true purpose: he's going to housesit while Jack leaves town and Lisa goes to the party with her boyfriend. Of course, Jack is militaristic in his cleanliness, as well as in his devotion to his pet owl, OJ. When unwelcome guests start arriving (Andy Richter, Molly Shannon, Carmen Electra, Michael Madsen), Tom knows big trouble is just around the corner. That big trouble is in the form of OJ, who flies out the front door after drinking a toilet full of cocaine-doused water. Eventually, Lisa comes home, forcing Tom to balance the chaos downstairs with the budding romance upstairs. Featuring several hilarious supporting performances, David Zucker's outlandish comedy gives Kutcher the perfect opportunity to further test his comic chops.

These are great old movies about Sherlock Holmes and Basil Rathbone really suits the role. These are the only movies from this era that I like, they’re even good in black and white. Great price too! I would buy from this seller again cause he’s very reasonable with his prices. That’s not the norm nowadays especially on eBay, most sellers and eBay themselves ask for astronomically high shipping prices and deliver at 1980’s speed. But luckily there’s some decent people left on here.

Pointless and shamefully enjoyable.
If you're reading this review then you are a special kind of person. For one, you have some interest (if only a passing one) in this otherwise disposable film that should have been out of the human pop culture vocabulary by the end of 2004. I actually am not a special kind of person who has (or had) an interest in this film beyond it's brief stint in theaters when my High School mind admittedly wanted to see it. Like most Americans I never fulfilled that curiosity. That is until last weekend when I was browsing the indoor Swap Meet at the Northwest Motor Fest, and for $2 I decided that was a worthy price to satisfy an 8 year on and off curiosity. I mean, it's David Zucker, what have I got to lose? To say Ashton Kutcher was in his infancy of "acting" would not be true. See, for it to be ... If you're reading this review then you are a special kind of person. See, for it to be properly called an infancy would imply that at some point he grew from this level and progressed. He most certainly has not. And to many that may be a blessing for they enjoy his bumbling physical comedy and ability to create awkwardness. I was hoping that he would have been able to surpass his mediocre level of ADD inspired "acting" by the time he was allowed to headline a feature film. But in Hollywood, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Even if it's broke...so long as it sells. The plot, should it need one, is up to par for a film of it's low standards. Kutcher, seeking a promotion in his publishing firm and to date his iron butt boss's daughter (Tara Reid), he accepts an invite to house sit for the boss for the night (as to why one would need a house sitter for a single night is beyond me...but ration is not a requirement for this type of movie so I won't scrutinize it too much for it's lack of). Of course, from the minute he gets there one disaster is averted after another. Semi-memorable characters from a plethora of memorable faces come and go (Andy Richter, Michael Madsen, Kenan Thompson, Molly Shannon, Carmen Electra, and so on). The plot is an afterthought, but what it sells itself on is the constant suspense that something will go oh so terribly wrong that our hero will not be able to date Tara Reid (...oh no) and will lose his job. As you can see, the stakes are terribly high. The film delivers in it's ability to make awkward situations and create a sense of comedic suspense, which is what Ashton Kutcher can do well. Is it funny in the sense of gut busters and one liners? Not at all. That said, for what is presented is shown with care and craft thanks to David Zucker. He could make a funeral of 50 orphans somehow funny. He has a lost talent of physical comedy that doesn't easily transfer to paper. For what it is, My Boss's Daughter is a decent time killer. It is very easily forgotten and very difficult to remember (a riddle if you will), but on some shamed part of my being I can admit I had a good time watching it. For $2 I have no regrets and it was well worth the brief ride. And for a similar price, you can probably buy it without worry. Most certainly a rental if you have the option. The DVD has a few features worth watching, which I will admit are more intriguing than the film as they have some eye opening glimpse into the process of how films are sculpted before, during, and after the cameras roll.

Funniest Kutcher Movie Ever!
I love everything about this movie. One of my favorite actors, Ashton Kutcher, stars in this R Rated comedy which co-stars Tara Reid and Terence Stamp. I especially like the appearances of several stars as zany uninvited houseguest, neighbors, and co-workers such as: Michael Madsen, Andy Richter, Molly Shannon, Carmen Electra, Kenan Thompson, Jeffrey Tambor, David Koechner, Patrick Cranshaw (Blue from Old School), Dave Foley, Jim Byrnes, Ever Carradine and Jon Abrahams. All of the antics of the supporting characters make this movie a hilarious rompe similar to previous films in which a cast of characters are off the wall such as: Clue, Scavenger Hunt, Rat Race, and many more. I'm not sure if there is an older movie very much similar to this but I wouldn't doubt it. The Sinbad movie, ... I love everything about this movie. In some deleted scenes, an item used for movies (name unknown) has The Guest listed where the title goes, which means the title was changed to My Boss's Daughter perhaps to avoid confusion with Houseguest and because it does sound better. Overall, this movie is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone. It's one of those movies with jokes, clean or not, but ends up being a funny love story with a happy ending for Tom Stansfield (Ashton Kutcher). The beginning and ending of the movie features one of my favorite songs "If I Had A 1,000,000 Dollars" by Barenaked Ladies.

My Boss's Daughter
This movie was ok....not as funny as I expected...It probably would have seemed to be a better movie had it not said by the makers of american Pie..Because I was expecting it to be as funny and it didn't quiet make it...but the overall movie was ok.
