this titanium-domed tweeter seems to produce a brighter and smoother sound than the original ones in my Fostex compression driver, which used some sort of brownish synthetic fabric, exactly what I don't know. At the same time, the titanium model didn't exhibit the sort of nasty harshness that can sometimes occur around the 4kHz mark. As it happened, I needed a little advice, and the seller (Mark) could not have been more helpful, as well as offering a very competitive price. Recommended seller

Good product. I fits my Fostex FH300 horn. I saw a video on how to change the diaphragm. But the video was too simple. I had to remove some material around the edge to be able to move the item and centre the coil in the magnet. That turned out to be important :) Then I got a nice and clear sound. Initially one was screamingly load and the other was nearly silent.

    Great sound, easy to fit

    I bought a handful of these to replace the cheap polymer diaphragms in my PA speakers' FH300 horn tweeters. They were easy to install and give a nice bright sound with no unwanted resonances (not that I can detect, anyway). I'm hoping they'll be a bit more durable than the old ones! They were cheap enough to buy a few spares for the toolbox as well.
