This is a very nice Bluetooth receiver.
I bought this JL Audio mbt-crx Bluetooth receiver for my son's power wheels, yes you read this correctly lol! Anyways i got it so that it can be used to control a Samsung Galaxy S3 strickly for MP3 music playing and its doing its job very well. You can change the tracks, pause and play, turn the volume up and down with the mp3 device having its volume set of course just like an amplifier ect. But i do like the idea that my son can change the tracks and fully control the phone from the Bluetooth receiver vs having a 3.5mm jack connected to the phone ect. The phone can be hidden in a small slot and no one would know where it is. I do have 1 complaint which is why i gave it 4 stars and that is the volume control, the volume control is a little slow and once you have it at a decent volume and ... Dont for get to set your gain control on the amp your using with the MBT-CRX. Think of it like a car stereo. There will be a distortion point but you can easily fix that by tuning the amp with music by ear or with a multi meter :)

I have been installing JL audio exclusively for over 20 years and this is one of my favorite products. Get rid of that old head unit and save tons of battery usage. Very simple to install and excellent sound quality.
