However, the second screen in this order came with a damaged ribbon cable, leaving subtle -- but noticeable, at least to me -- rainbow artifacts on the screen. Seeing that the packaging was very sturdy and there were large amounts of cushioning, I can only assume the second screen was damaged in the first place and had not been thoroughly tested.

Even though the shipping box had a small hole gashed into it the part had no visible damage. I installed it into my Ps3. My Ps3 now works with the game that it was having trouble reading using the old laser mechanism. This seller had the best price on this Blu Ray laser part. Very happy with this seller on this order.
