I bought two
Easy replacement for the old one, everything fit great. Amazingly it fired up and ran first pull (that never happened when it was new!) My problem was the first one leaked at the bottom of the bowl at the screw. Got the second one, worked great, but after running a few minutes it would start running like it was needing gas. Later I found out that if my gas tank got anything near low it would not flow into the carburetor fast enough (which was very strange). I have it stored for now, no fuel in the carb and I crank and run it every 3 weeks just for routine that they need to have done!Easy replacement for the old one, everything fit great. I sent it back and while I was waiting for seller response (very slow) I ordered another one from a different seller. The second one I installed and everything seemed fine, no leaks. I put the generator away, then I walked over a little later just to make sure and there was a leak. This time it was fuel overflow. No problem, I thought, something in the needle and seat. I serviced that and it still leaked. I disassembled the carburetor and found that the brass seat that is press fit into the aluminum body had a leak around it.The first one has a leak at the bottom of the bowl. Craftsman 10hp chipper shredder
I bought this after looking for a oem replacement but could not find it. This was a exact fit for the stock carb on my 10 hp craftsman chipper shredder. It started easily and runs smoother than it ever did with the stock carb. I am very pleased with this purchase. At this price I will buy another just to keep on the shelf.
