    Works

    The battery seems to be good, not sure why but the gauge on the remote shows that it is dead. While the camera is recording the gauge on the battery shows dead, when the camera is off shows charged, but it keeps running.

    GoPro battery good, Wasabi better

    Like all of us, we want longer battery life for our GoPro cameras. I saw this battery which snaps on the back of the GoPro, and I thought that's exactly what I need. Getting nearly double the battery life as shown in tests. However, just a week ago I saw the product from Wasabi. The Wasabi battery extender combines the standard battery and the booster battery into one piece. This combination one piece battery almost doubled the life expectancy of just adding the GoPro piece by itself. The GoPro piece is a good choice, but the wasabi is a home run.

    A must have for those that record long content

    I use this on my Hero 3 and it is a night and day difference. I can record much more video without having to change out batteries. I have my GoPro mounted on my helmet and the only thing that I had to adjust for is the added size of the battery back. But for the most part it isn’t that much of size difference. Overall I couldn’t live without this extra battery pack.

    Much longer run time.

    These batteries have increased my recording time to 2 hrs or so vs 30 minutes with the standard battery pack. I have 6 of these, and two stopped charging. All but one have been pre owned and priced right. The new one was one of the bad ones, so maybe used ones will be more proven.
