      Didn't work for me, BUT!

      Bought this to help mount two NEW 20X8X8 rear tires for riding mower wheels. They didn't do the job, but I have used tools like this before, and they do work in some cases. Lawnmower rims are just too wide to make work with this tool. Might work on a partially worn or used tire that isn't already "puckered" in the wrong direction from shipping, so I am keeping it. Also may work for use on the smaller front wheels . Commercial quality tool, once used in a larger version to mount tubeless tires before the advent of high pressure tire mounting machines. If you are doing small tires, you need a holding fixture, and also some good tire irons, and LOTS of air volume. Small compressor won't do the job, not even with this tool.

      Works great on smaller tires!

      I got this to do tires on larger lawn tractors and small tractor front tires. Most of those application use very wide wheels and tires; and unfortunately, the tires often see longer storage cycles. That causes the tire beads to withdraw and makes them hard to seat. This makes those jobs easy!

      EXCELLENT BEAD EXPANDER!

      I have used ratchet belts in the past; sometimes it took two belts, and occasionally the belt would have to be cut. This product expands and presses the beads up equally, then deflates easily. This product is the best expander I have ever used; Bar None!
