Look great, feel great,....easy to install.
Nice. Soapy water didn't help much with the installation, so I used regular dishwashing liquid instead. Put some on the grips and the puppies and the puppies slipped right on. Didn't even need to remove the bar ends. Once on, just wait 'til the dishwashing liquid dries (overnight). My puppies look nice, feel good to my grip, and they stay in place. I don't anticipate ever removing them, but if I do, I can just cut them off. Haven't checked out the puppies while my heated grips are on, but other riders say the heat from the grips transfers through the puppies without a problem. Safe riding. GL1800 GoldwingNice. I love these things...
My bike had a pair on it when I got it about 25k miles ago. I was indifferent about them at first. Then I managed to tear the one on the throttle side with an improper install of a throttle lock. I was a little less indifferent about them after I removed them because of the tearing (about 10k miles). Now that I have them on again, I think I will be ordering another pair. Using he soapy water technique, they're easily installed, ready to use overnight once dried, and super comfortable -vs- the smaller, metallic grips. Definitely makes a difference, too, in softening and road vibrations normally felt in the handgrips. A good product that does what it says!
