    Nice pattern for experienced crocheters

    I bought this pattern for the "fit and flare" styled skirt. I found several errors in the book. The gauge is marked as 7 Skirt pattern rows to 2 inches, which should be 1 inch. The sleeves are very full from shoulder to elbow, but the photo shows that the sleeve is tighter around from elbow to wrist. There is no instruction for gathering the sleeve. Part of the problem is that the pattern uses a mixture of rayon crochet thread for the skirt, jacket and hat; cotton size 10 crochet thread for the bodice and cord that attaches the ruffle to the skirt; and cotton size 30 crochet thread for the ruffles and hat scarf. The recommended thread is nearly impossible to find, so I used size 10 crochet thread throughout. The best gauge I got was 6 pattern rows to the inch, so I improvised where I ...
