    Flowmaster makes one of the best built mufflers you can purchase, the quality way surpasses most aftermarket muffler manufactures. Shipping was quick but the only problem I had with this seller is they didn't package it very well and arrive with box torn open and barely hanging on. if the box was to become separated the carrier would have just thrown it into the trash and it would have never arrived. just unnacceptable and the seller should know how the carriers (UPS, FedX, or USPS) destroy ever

    Awsum well made great quality willout last the motor by years.

    great pump well built and more pressure than factory GM. BUT before you purchase check the CHEAP "O" ring seal and get that straight on instead of at an angle like the original left the factory. A new high quality "O" ring like the supplied that came with this pump. GM should of had a recall and fix for free.

    One of the mounting ears was broken of...

    One of the mounting ears was broken off the pump. The broken piece was not in the shipping box and the box was not damaged. The ear had to be missing when the pump was shipped. Fortunately I had an old pump and swapped the gear set and pressure valve to the old pump housing. Haven t got the engine running yet, hopefully it will work, if not I ll need a replacement.

    Melling M295 oil pump on a 5.3L

    This oil pump is awesome way better than the stock pump it gave me a oil pressure at 40psi and it gets rid of the valves from knocking. It's about a 7 hour job taking your time and the hardest part is the sump YouTube has some good ideas I used fishing line to tie it to the screw so it doesn't fall in the oil pan. I highly recommend this pump here is a couple of pics the new pump and the old pump still on the engine.

    Worked with an LS1 pick up tube after modification

    Had to trim the pick up tube to get it to sit flush. Different color o-rings didn't solve the problem either. It was sort of a last resort to trim it but it worked and was getting good oil pressure after doing so.
