    Excelent

    I have used the legendary Neve 66309 extensively and love it. This compressor is a bit less "gluey" however a bit more transparent. It costs 10% what the 33609 does but that is "not" the reason I use it. It sounds like a premium $6000 unit. It is very convenient to have one set of controls, and to have the internal HPF make it great at keeping it from pumping... They have been so successful that the company has been sold and they are going to try to improve on it... pretty sure it won't sound as good as this "New Classic"
