This reflection is not of Sonic Electronix as a business but the dash kit for the Lexus ES300/E330. This particular kit is not a true double din kit so buyers beware. I tried 2 double dins and 1 single and none of them fit within the opening properly. I'd also like to point out that the fitment into the Lexus dash is poor. Doesn't line up correctly with the factory AC piece. All the parts that needs to transferred from the oem part to the new kit doesn't fit properly either. Oh well.

Lexus ES300/ES330 aftermarket dash kit.
The Metra kit 99-8158g is designed for the Lexus ES300/ES330. The main piece, compared to the OEM piece, is sub par in my opinion. None of the pieces from the OEM piece that must be applied to the kit fits properly except the vents. The cut out hole for the aftermarket stereo is not large enough to accommodate the new stereo. Can you make the kit work?, yes. You would need to file the opening of the kit to fit the new aftermarket stereo. You would also need to paint the kit to match your dash and somehow permanently attach the miscellaneous pieces from the OEM piece to the new kit so the pieces aren't wiggling around. Needed for a Perfect Fit!
This is a must have for installing a double din radio into the Lexus ES300/330. The fit was perfect for the radio and the car's center dash area. No gaps, squeaking or "stick-outs". Made the install flawless and clean.
