A very sad story, but an excellent account of the holocaust. A book I would recommend others to read, particularly since antisemitism is quickly rising in the USA, and around the world. It should be a must read in schools! The transaction was smooth. The book arrived quickly, came as described. and was securely packed. Also, very reasonably priced! Would definitely buy from this seller again! Highly recommend!

  • A typical Thoene Historical Adventure

This, like the other Thoene books, is colorful and fast moving. It's so easy to keep up with the action when reading them. Bodie has a way of shifting from scene to scene so you never get bored. This is one of the Galway Series and a helpful insight into the struggles of the IRA there. What I like about the Thoene books is the fact that Brock provides the historical background to all the novels while Bodie writes her characters as they would have lived during those troubled times. The Galway Series books aren't my favorite among the Thoenes', but they are still very good and well worth the read.
