A heatgun is still necessary to loosen the adhesive. The battery is perfectly fine, sized correctly for the compartment, and has no issues after installation. Charges up as expected, holds its charge well, and appears to be well-manufactured. The wires between the battery and the connector head are slightly long vs. OEM, but not enough to be an issue.
