Great Analog Sequencer
This little box is a beast. It's amazing that at this price this much is available. Other sequencers cost 10 times as much for the same features. Works with all kinds of synths that take midi, cv, or sync inputs. The only down side is shorter battery life than I would like. about 5-6 hours on a set of AA batteries. All in all great product, Korg does it again.

If you are into softsynths, the Korg MS20ic is a rare limited edition.
I recently won a Korg MS20ic Controller. It works beautifully though Ableton 8.2 without any problems as there has been a recent update to the downloadable driver. A bit smaller than I expected, this controller is quite the looker in the studio and it's size is generous enough to conveniently place on a small desk or shelf without taking up too much space or weighing too much. Housed with a Microkorg keybed, the keys are funtional enough to play simple melodic lines or chords or even just for pressing a key while programming. Otherwise, I prefer my usual controller which didn't have any driver problems using along side the MS20ic. Overall this controller has enabled me to use the software in conventional ways I probably wouldn't have attempted with a mouse. IMO, the software is not ... I recently won a Korg MS20ic Controller. One of the reasons I wanted the controller version was to use with my iMS20 app on the iPad. A USB powed hub is needed to power the controller which then connects to your camera connection kit. I was a bit dissapointed to discover this, but it works flawlessly. If you are into softsynths, the MS20ic is a rare discontinued limited edition to any in the box set-up.

Nice Midi Controller
You need the Korg MS20-VST for this to work and you need to get the driver from the Korg site as well. I grabbed the driver on my mac & plugged in the Korg ms20 ic worked no issue. I also found this will work with other vst's as well you just need to map the knobs and switches.

No Nord, Waldorf or Virus can ever give you the crude brutal power of the MS-20 filters, This is EXACTLY like the original 1978 model its a noisy little bastard but it's so versatile it will expand your creativity to new heights. If you are into EDM and cheesy synth music you're better off buying a Nord or any other VA, if you're into Industrial, harsh brutal sounding music this is a GODSEND... it takes some time to get used to and the learning curve is steep, dont expect to make killer sounds in seconds but once you understand how it works you'll fall in love with itListen up...
