About this product

Product Information

Buck Fever lets hunting enthusiasts take aim at some prized game in a frenzy of arcade-style shooting action. There's no baiting and waiting in this descendant of Big Buck Hunter; players simply grab their Wii Remote or Wii Zapper and head out to six different U.S. territories and four Canadian provinces in an attempt to bag as many whitetail, blacktail, and desert mule deer as possible. Successful hunters are rewarded with trophies to indicate their total number of kills, the biggest buck they've bagged, and their highest score achieved. Buck Fever lets up to four gamers hunt simultaneously, and it also includes two multiplayer party modes: "Hunter's Challenge" is a timed race to kill the most animals and earn the highest score, while "Bonus Games" is a timed shootout in which players take aim at bottles and cans, or rodents and waterfowl.

  • Buck Fever

I purchased this game for my 4 yr old, he likes shooting games, but I didn't want him seeing all the blood n gore and he knows that I personally hunt deer, so it seemed to fit him, he also like the arcade version. The game is fairly realistic, I myself have enjoyed it, It is not real hard until you level up to higher skill levels, My son really enjoys it and it is a nice non bloody shooter game that most kids can master. Only 2 things that I didn't like about it was the way that you level up, you can't stay in a novice mode when you change to newer regions it automatically takes you to expert mode, and whoever made it really didn't know what the deer for each region really looked like, in WV the deer look like elk,but all n all a good game , and I would advise anyone to go ahead and buy it ...

  • What i Think of Buck Fever.....

This is a great game overall if you are looking for an "arcade" style shooter game. u know the ones that have the guns attached and u throw the quarter in for a few min of nonstop spamming of your gun... yea like that... and it is fun to have around for people of all ages to play together.. can get a bit frustrating at times but with dif game modes its is good for many hours of playing.. if your thinking about getting this game i wouldnt hesitate.. its a fun game overall.

  • A Great Game

This game is great. The multi-player feature is the best aspect of this game. You can have up to 4 players on one screen (not a split screen either) just like an arcade style game should be. That was the main thing I was looking for in a good hunting game. The single player mode is fun also, but can seem kind of easy at times, but level difficulty does increase. This even got my father (who NEVER before this game played video games) hooked on it. The family loves competing with each other for high scores. This is by far the best hunting game I have played.

  • Buck Fever

A gamey hunting simulation. It is somewhat challenging, with good graphics. It is a fun game for young would be hunter want to be's. The animals are shot and do fall down, so anti-hunter types would want to steer clear. It will not help a lot in real life hunter training.

  • fun game to play for all ages, good graphics,

fun to play, good graphics, a decent game for all ages, there are many items to hunt, deer and birds, and there are extra games like dishes to shoot at, bottles and cans to shoot at. There are gophers to shoot at. A very mild hunting game, not a violent game.
