Another winner for storyline and humor
I am a bit biased about Susan E. Phillips books - I adore them all (well ok, almost all; I didn't care for Breathing Room all that much). This book is in the top 3 of my favorite SEP books. It takes 2 totally disparate characters, a football player and a physicist, and combines them for a typical SEP ride - full of humor, crazy situations and secondary characters who steal the show. I am not a laugh out loud reader except for this author. You will know what I mean when you get to the Lucky Charms chapter. One of the ways the main 2 characters disagree is that Cal loves his junk food when he is on hiatus from football season while Jane is more of a health nut. To get revenge on Cal, Jane painstakingly removes all the marshmallows from not one but several boxes of Cal's Lucky Charms and ... I am a bit biased about Susan E. The book has many such humorous scenes but also deeply emotional ones. The book starts with a highly immoral act that causes many repercussions and that act is not treated lightly. There is also a marriage on the rocks and issues of aging. I highly recommend this book as well as all the other ones based on players from the Chicago Stars football team. You might even learn a little about football.

Nobody's Baby but Mine
The preview on this book sounds really good. Susan Elizabeth Phillips write the best books. They are so interesting, funny and sexy that it's hard to put it down. They are upbeat and happy. Will try to read everything that she has published.
