Product Information

Namco's "Tales" series of role-playing games spins another yarn with Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology for PSP. Incorporating both new and familiar characters from the long-running franchise, Radiant Mythology follows the story of a young hero in a quest to stop a malevolent force known as "the Devourer" from consuming the land of Terresia. Players will create their alter ego from an assortment of customization options, including gender, voice, hairstyle, and one of four initial classes: warrior, thief, mage, or priest. A free-roaming combat system allows characters to move anywhere within the battlefield as players cast spells and engage in melee combat with various combinations of items, skills, and equipment. More than 800 items can be acquired in the game world, all of which can be traded to nearby friends via wireless connection.

Typically not too picky with my game collection but sunfaded box art does bother me. The problem with my purchase is that I received sun faded box art while the picture was of a regular colourful item that did not match. I reached out to the seller but no resolution option was offered. Which is unfortunate cause I’ve bought from this seller before and it’s been typically a good experience. I think some more care could go into their photos of their products.

    For Tales Fans!

    If you love Tales game and would like to play a game that had characters from multiple main instalments they you will enjoy this! It can be a little tedious at times but I still found it very fun.

    The Ups and Downs of Tales of the World: Radiant Myth

    The ups- In general its great game. The controls are easy to learn and you can get into it right away. The voice acting and cut scenes are always fun to watch. You can make a party of up to four people with the Tales of characters from other games as well as wondering mercenaries (you don't have to pay them :). Finally There are a lot of quests, items, customizations, secret quests, foods, and advancements to keep you occupied even after you beat the game. The downs- The annoying things of Radiant Mythology are that your party gets automatically disbanded after you complete each quest. Key items needs for synthesis are normally found in only a few areas. You can't get Kanonno to join your party. And beating the final boss takes quiet a bit of leveling up or one incredible strategy.

    Amazing

    If you are a tales fan, then you must get this one, it has 19 characters from the previous tales game, and you can play as all of them, however there are i think 5 of them that you see but can not play as, this might irritate some gamers or hardcore fans of the series. But it didn't bother me as much. Another exciting thing about this game is the introduction to Classes, This game has so many classes i can't give an exact number of how many there is mainly because I have not played the game long enough yet am still in the beginning of it. but i am just very excited that my personal favorite character in the tales series is in this game, that which of course is Lloyd, best tales character in my opinion, i still hate how they messed up his controlling in TOS-DOTNW, but it was for a good ...

    Radiant Mythology...what a wonderful PSP game

    I bought this game because of the game reviews it recieved on major gaming websites. I love the chibi graphics of this game.. since I'm a girl I thought that it was really cute, especially the little flying cat thing named Mormo. I like the way you get to control youre character in the dungeons (you move around freely and run into visable monsters). The map setups are so easy to understand and you get to have other characters in youre party after a short amount of time playing the game. The story line is fun and easy to understand and....(something important to me).... when you equip new armor and weapons you can see the change on youre character which alot of rpgs dont have. All in all this game is a really good rpg IMO. Could be better of course but it definately wins an 'A' here...

    Tales of the world Radiant Mythology

    i bought this game at my local gamestop 14 days after it came out brand new factory sealed for 40$ and i would pay 100$ for this game if i had too.The battle system is solid the controls are great and the characters are awesome.My favorite thing about this game is doing the quests and custoimizing my person.The story isnt great but its still cool i wish i could still roam around on the world map like all the other tales games but i still love this game.It doesnt matter if you find it for 40$ or 30$,BUY IT!!!
