If this bothers you, then you might not like the wallet. I think the extra material might be required there to allow it to accommodate extra bills/notes, etc. when folded but the lower seam still may look a little off. Otherwise, this wallet is great and for a great price. I gave one as a gift over a year ago and it is holding up very nicely!

Has plenty of slots for cards. Craftsmanship look great. I use the chain link for spare set of keys. I ordered on a Friday and got on a monday. Talk about lightning fast shipping.
