About this product

Product Information

In Digimon World: Data Squad, gamers become Marcus, a new Digimon trainer on the Digital Accident Tactical Squad (DATS). As a DATS member, Marcus is charged with monitoring the Digimon activity in the real world. Marcus finds himself on a new mission when a breakdown of the barriers between two worlds has the Digimon universe experiencing some unfortunate consequences. Rogue Digimon are on a destruction spree and children are disappearing in the night. Marcus must find his way through the cyberganic world, dispatch the troublemakers, and find the missing kids.

To complete this task, Marcus can rely on his brood of Digimon monsters. Four creatures may accompany Marcus on his journey, but only three can stand with him in battle. An "Emote" feature places importance on the moods of each animal. If Marcus takes the advice of his digital critters and executes the suggested move, the action's overall effectiveness is increased. There are more than 140 different animals to collect and train, and Marcus has two choices when it comes to upgrading his cyber-beasts: the Galactic Evolution System or random evolution. With the GES, Marcus can map out the path of his Digimon by creating constellations in a star system. The second option creates unknown combinations.

  • Thgae soo trulymagnficnt seling ponts, wrth atry:)

Ok well um a review huh....grapihcally the game looks pretty good, cell shading works for digimon given its originally a cartoon seris...bgm is abit redundent and repetative in a bad ay to be honest.... The storyline is seriusly lacking and extremly simple, very one tracked, but its somewhat entertaining and makes you giggle in places... Now onto the key selling point for the game, the gallactic evolution system, i expected a lazy half assed digivulution system like the last 3 digimon games have had but this new system the ges is seriusly impresve and you find your self getting really immersed into it, and very excited for what you will unlock next, its imaginative, orginal and very enjoyable, without the game wouldnt be worth playing in my personal opinion, but because of that system the ...

  • Digimon World: Data Squad isn't much of a game.

Digimon World Data Bound is a role-playing game, a very slow moving role-playing game. You'll start off playing as Data Squad member Marcus Damon, whose Digimon is the dinosaur-like Agumon. But before long, you'll be playing as the entire Data Squad, providing you with a small party of Digimon with which to fight. Your Digimon will evolve over time, and there's a pretty huge number of different evolutionary paths each Digimon can take. You can influence this process by fulfilling specific conditions. Digimon World: Data Squad isn't much of a game to look at, with cheap, repetitive environments, enemies, and attack animations.

  • Get it.

Very excellent game. I recommend it to any Digimon fan. I bought it as long time Digimon fan, and I am not disappointed. My only problem with it is that the voice acting could use some work.
