A good cordless phone set!
This was just what I was looking for! I have used an earlier model of this phone for years, during the time that my son was small, and it took a beating and kept going - it's actually still going - but my other 2 cordless (of a different brand) died within a year or two. So, when looking to replace those, I went for what I knew and I am happy with them. The buttons are almost all in the same place and set-up as my earlier model so it was easy to use and they are sturdy and hold a charge, just like the old one. I would definitely get these again - but I'm hoping that they prove to be as tough as the first and I won't have to! Sound is good, answering machine works well, no complaints!This was just what I was looking for! It is a bit more difficult to use for the intercom and listen to messages on the handset features, but now that I've figured out how, it's great. A copy of the user manual would have been a great help. The seller did give me a sheet with how to do the initial setup. I love the crazy rings when a call comes in; they are quite different than the usual. The smaller size of the base/answering machine is a big plus; also the fact that you can mount both the base and each of the remote handset chargers on the wall. Best phone set and base stations that I have ever had or tried before!
I'm very happy with this purchase and the price was very, very reasonable, for such high quality merchandise. This set of phones has so many features, that make my cell phone look sick and my cell phone has the name of a fruit! I could not believe how easy these were to set up. Voicemail has always been difficult, for me to set up, but not with this set. It's a breeze. I manage an apartment complex and carry this phone with me everywhere on the property and is Always Crystal Clear. This saves me money, by not having to depend on my cell all the time and even works great in the basements, where I can't get a tower for the cell. At 1.9GHz, the power is perfect for my needs, giving me the range to roam around the entire property. The pricing is so much better than a regular outlet and was ... An inexspensive, well made phone system.
I purchased this set to use with my computer phone system for private calls and when I'm not sitting at the computer. The phone system has everthing I need, a phone book, caller id display, answering service, a pager, a speaker phone among others. It has a slim design that is comfortable to use. I have used Panasonic phone systems for over 30 years and never had a complaint about any of them.

Buyer beware!
I had a Panasonic phone system like this for several years. I had many years of excellent service with it. As it was dying on me, I began shopping for a new set-up. This was a Panasonic system with six phones that had all the features of my old system and at a great price. I plugged it in and initially it worked fine. But if I walked around the house the other party couldn't hear me. I have to stay within twelve feet of the base or the phone is ineffective.
