Product Information

Garfield takes three trips in this collection of adventures, with typically chaotic results. In "Garfield in the Rough," the poor feline is dragged on vacation with his owner, Jon, and his nincompoop fellow pet, Odie. Unfortunately, this will be no relaxing getaway, but rather a camping trip in the woods. There, the forest rangers insult him, Odie pushes him into the lake, his tent is ill-fitted, and a panther is after him. "Garfield In Paradise" finds the gang, well, in paradise, this time joined by the High Rama Lama of rock and roll--voiced by Wolfman Jack--as well as a princess and her princess cat. There's trouble in paradise too, however, when a volcano starts to rumble! Then, Garfield and company are headed to Hollywood to try their luck for some big bucks. They have plans to go on "Pet Search," a TV talent show. Their act has them performing as Johnny Bop and the Two Steps, and they stand to win $1000 and a shot at the national finals! The music is performed by Lou Rawls.

Childhood memories
Childhood memories i can share with my son. My dad had a 57 Chevy and now I do so the vacation episode is my Favorite. Arrived in excellent condition as described in the designated time frame.

An okay DVD, but it's not for everyone. Recommend for nostalgia only.
These are three Garfield TV specials from 1984-1987. I bought them for nostalgic purposes because I liked them when I was a kid, so in that sense it's great to have them on DVD. The episodes aren't very well-made or entertaining however, so I wouldn't recommend them to a fresh audience. The Hawaii episode is nearly unwatchable, the rest are filled with broad, dry & predictable humor that is cute at best. They're also filled with horribly out-of-place musical segments. I only recommend this DVD if you're looking for a memorable callback from your childhood. The packaging & DVD menu are also unexciting, and for some reason includes a non-related promo for the 2004 animation feature "Robots".These are three Garfield TV specials from 1984-1987.
