Sent him a pump off a John Deere tractor. Was pumping fine, just needed the front seal replaced. Got pump back, put pump on tractor sputtered and shut off. Sent pump back and he would not warranty. Said we got trash in pump. We have installed tons of fuel pumps both in shop and in field and this has never happened before. Got pump back and carried to a local rebuilder and he said that pump was not properly assembled and was sandblast material in head. It wasn’t properly cleaned when reassembled.
