Sorry for the delayed response. Received the slide package!!! With all this crazy weather and rain, the package got wet. Thank you for putting the slides in a plastic bag!! They arrived in perfect condition in spite to the package getting very wet!! Thank you for your excellent customer service!!! I will be back for more slides!!!

  • STREAMLINERS

On its own, a fairly good picture book, allowing for comparably slightly limited size, in the genre, with one major failing. The book has no photo of Lehigh Valley RR JOHN WILKES Loco! The JOHN WILKES remains the most beautiful Streamer ever, and deserves its due glory, which is neglected here! Any railroad photo book runs stiff competition, from MANY, LARGE format books on the same subject. If you like the early, diesel railroad engines, you will like this book, in my opinion. Considering I purchased this book, new, at a steep discount, 'STREAMLINERS' is an above average value addition, to my railroad visual library.

  • Excellent historical perspective

Perfect reference material for all train buffs out there. I bought this book to use a companion to compare real trains to the antique trains that I collect. There are an abundance of pictures and ads that help transport you back to another time of travel.

  • A great value !!

A very impressive collection of Mike Schafer photos. Joe Welsh writes about what he knows best - passenger trains. A must have for anyone who enjoys well written books about passenger rail travel in the USA !
