I can't blame the seller, it was exactly as described in the product description. Unfortunately I did not read carefully enough. This manual only covers two models of that year. I only looked at the picture and it covered the year of my machine, but not my model. so the manual does me no good. MY FAULT, not the sellers. The price was right and the cost and speed of shipping were great. I would order again from the manualstore.com. I'll Just make sure I completely read the product description.

The Police Bike of the 70's 80's 90's & 21st Century
The Police Bike the Drag Bike the old Style Cruiser. This is normally a bolt upright Bike to ride. In 1976 the Kawasaki People came out with the KZ 900 This with very few Modifications became a stand up bike for the Police. A lot of you remember CHiPs The TV show. This show made the KZ a very famous Motorcycle. An In-Line 4 cylinder Motorcycle producing over 100BHP in stock form. The cop shop did not have to go anywhere to get this bike hopped up to fly at 120+mph with a full load of radios, sirens, Big gas tank, Fairing, and Crash Bar's. The Original bike had four into four exhaust pipes. That is one exhaust pipe one muffler. For a lot more horsepower and a load of clearance on the street. Even the police Changed the exhaust for a much better Four into One Exhaust that tucked up and out ... The Police Bike the Drag Bike the old Style Cruiser. Of Course the average Policeman would not do without his floorboards to hold those heavy heavy knee boots that were mandatory for more reasons than one. A good motors Officer learned to drag those floorboards till they had to be replaces as they were worn in two pieces from dragging them on the pavement of parking lots.Clymer gives you all the needed know how to fix or repair this bike nine ways from Sunday. Although they do not really advocate the turning of this bike to a high powered race machine. Which it can be. Elmer Trett the one time national Record holder for Top Fuel Drag Bike. On Sept. 5, 1983, Trett made what was arguably the most significant pass of his career when he rode his nitro-burning Kawasaki to a 7.16, 201.30, recording the first 200-mph motorcycle run. Trett was also the first to 210, 220, and 230 mph. A 234 MPH pass Set at Atco New Jersey in 1994 all of his records using a supercharger on a Large Block Kawasaki KZ called "Mountain Magic" motorcycle. The original bike was a KZ 1000 but with the addition of a Chrome Moly Tube frame. Wheelie bars and a full load of Nitromethane and Alcohol to give his 1587 CC KZ an amazing 1400 horsepower to a single rear drag Racing slick that was 31 inches tall and 11inches wide at the tread of which there was none. Elmer died at Indianapolis Raceway Park.Sept 1,1996. Going as fast as he could go. A Finer man never raced a bike than Elmer. I saw a Clymer Manual Set in Elmers Trailer. That he took racing. If that is not enough of a Shout it from the mountain top recommendation then I do not know what is. I always made it for a bowl of Chili that Jackie Trett would make at Bradenton FL the final Race of the Season. Yes this tell you how great Clymer Manuals are But then look who read them Number 50 on the NHRA Top Drivers List. It does not get any better than that for a book or a man "You Launch on the Yellow Light" "If you wait for the green light the race is already over." ETrett.
