    Generation X's guitar GREAT...

    I was born in 1970 and Zack Wylde is by far my favorite guitar player and probably THE most influential guitar player of my generation.I hear his guitar style on so much music .Pride and Glory was his first record after his debut as Ozzy's guitar player and this spotlights his southern rock influences.The bonus disc is the icing on the cake.The songs remind me of the work he did on the later album The Song Remains Not the Same,which I HIGHLY recommend.The songs he covers become HIS songs.whether or not you have heard either one of these cds,they are MORE than worth a listen.

    Pride & Glory [Remaster] Love it!!! Best CD I have!!

    I love this CD, it has all kinds of style and Zakk wylde shows his versatility. What can I say, Ive been listening to this CD every day for 2 months and still love it. First time I listened to it, I was hooked. Sort of Southern rock grunge sound. Very cool. Way different than Black Label stuff. Some songs sound real heavy when some songs sound like Allman brothers and then Uriah Heep (SP)? Anyway very versatile and sooooooo good.

    Pride and Glory --southern rock bluegrass metal

    Pride and Glory was Zakk Wylde's (Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist) first solo album. The best way to describe it is a combination of southern rock, a little bluegrass, and metal. I originally bought this album about 10 years ago on cassette and wore it out playing it in my car stereo. Anyway, I liked it enough to buy it again on CD.

    AMAZING!!!!

    This Zakk CD is absolutely AMAZING!! I never tire of listening to it. I agree that it is at the top as being one of the best Zakk CDs'. I love BLS's Eternal 1919, Blessed Hell Ride & Mafia,..but The Pride & Glory material is just plain down home rockin' hard good stuff!! I get very nostalgic and think of my younger days in Joplin, Mo. when I listen to this Zakk Cd. "Drink Up!!" Zakk Wylde ROCKS!,....

    That's what called Rock n' Roll...

    1995, it was a hard era in the heavy rock history, but Zakk Wylde, James Lomenzo and Brian Tichy made an uncompromised album, which takes the listeners to the good old days, when the music was music. Great songs, Zakk did his best in the composing. Don't miss to hear it, it's one of the best album in the 90's! Csaba from Hungary (a huge P&G fan from the beginning).
