It's ok.
This is obviously cheaply made, but that being said...it is compatible with some, not all NES games. If you want to be able to play some of the games that you played on NES, it's great. If you want to play ALL of your NES games, then go ahead and hook up your NES again and play them. For the games it plays....it's perfect, easy to use nostalgia. However, if you have a combo like Mario/Duck Hunt, it won't play it, or a cross over like Qbert, it won't play. However, the straight up NES games like Mario 2 or Dr. Mario etc. they play perfectly and it's much less stress than trying to get the exact spot that the cartridge needs to go down to in the NES to play games and then have someone bump it and you lose your game anyway. This will play your games without the worry of the cartridge being ... This is obviously cheaply made, but that being said...it is compatible with some, not all NES games. It plays some games beautifully, but hang on to your NES to play the rest of your games. If you have a two or three game cartridge, use your NES to play it. Also, use your NES controllers. They are made better than these controllers and are easier to use. If you use the controllers that come with the system, be careful with them. We broke one within two hours because someone dropped one. We glued it back together and it works fine, but go ahead and dig out those NES controllers for better quality and less buttons. :-) Overall, a good buy if you want to play some retro games, or show kids what games used to be like. It's easier to use than the NES and plays some of the games. Great value for what you get. Take good care of it and it will last well. :-)

Save the money, time, and headache and get a Retro Duo Twin instead. It's the same product as this, BUT IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I got the Yobo FC2 Slim system, and only the Nintendo portion of it worked. It didn't play Super Nintendo games at all. And the colors on the Nintendo games were not correct. So I returned this system and bought a Retro Duo Twin instead -- it looks basically the same as this system, with a slot for the Nintendo games and a slot for the Super Nintendo games, and it costs about the same. I've had the Retro Duo for about two weeks now, and so far all the Nintendo and Super Nintendo games I've tried have worked perfectly, and the colors on the Nintendo games are much better than they were on the Yobo FC2 Slim.Save the money, time, and headache and get a Retro Duo Twin instead. It works but don't expect quality assembly.
This is a review of the product and not the seller. Console is not constructed to high standards but then again you get what you pay for. I had to open it up and kind of straighten out the 72 pin connector so that the carts would insert easier because the 72 pin connector was not quite aligned with the plastic doors. Of course the connector cables that trigger the exterior power and reset buttons got disconnected even with gentle removal of the top. So now I have to use a pen to Power / Reset the unit.0 Inserting and removing carts is a little awkward because there is little leverage since the unit has such a small footprint so be ready for that. It is cheap for a reason. I would have paid 10 more bucks for a better constructed unit. However, it does work and is infinitely ... This is a review of the product and not the seller. I am really pleased and loved playing all my old cartridges.
Great console for only the NES 8-bit games. At first it is really hard to get the games in and out. In fact I thought I may break the console trying to "tear" the game free. After some time the games go in and out very easily--my six year old can do it. The days where you pulled the console out and sat it on the floor, are not good for this jewel. It will freeze fairly easy if not placed up and out of the way--bring a chair closer. I was really pleased with seeing some of my old titles work again. Once in awhile I had to shift the cartridge a little forward or back to make it come on and/or turn the console off/on.....still way easier than what you may have to do to get the original to work. The games I could not get to work on my NES work fine with this console. I prefer my retro and dog ... Great console for only the NES 8-bit games.
