Package arrived safely. I’ve played for over 50 years and own the original mouthpiece. Its a valiant effort to 3D print these but the materials are every bit as important as the shape. It does have a very dark tone and could possibly be a good classical mouthpiece. I do a lot of lead alto playing and use an actual NY Meyer or a very close hand made clone to produce the rich tone the originals had. I couldn’t use it in that capacity. I may use As a classical mouthpiece. Thanks!

arrived pretty much on time. Mouthpiece has a unique sound that I have not been able to fit into my style yet, after trying 7 different reed manufacturers and 3 different ligatures.... I own a Meyer that is fantastic however, this mouthpiece does not really sound like it. Mouthpiece plays very well all around but not yet a standout.

I took a chance to try a 3D made alto sax mouthpiece because I was curious. The mouthpiece was made quickly available to me. It plays GREAT !! Just as advertised, it plays very similar to a classic Meyer brand alto sax mouthpiece. Also, try finding a #4 facing in a vintage Meyer...almost impossible. I could not be more pleased. I HIGHLY recommend this mouthpiece and this seller for those who are looking for a Meyer like mouthpiece at a reasonable price
