About this product

Product Information

Branching off the popular Brain Age games, Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day aims to do for the eyes what its cousins did for brains. Like a handheld eye exam, gamers will be able to test their hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and visual acuity. First-time users of the game take a series of tests to determine their "Eye Age," and repeated use will help gamers lower that number and sharpen their visual skills. Mini-games generally take on the appearance of sporting events like baseball, football, and soccer, but other games deal more with numbers, matching, and fast moving objects.

  • Great game, if you only play a little each day

First of all this isn't a game you sit down and play for hours. It's a game you play for a few minutes every once in a while. This is what makes it fun. You start iut the game with a simple eye age test. For most people its way up there in the 40's and higher, your eye age improves over time. It has a wide variety of games to train your eyes. It also has a few sports in there too. I gave it a 4 because the game gets very boring if you play it for more than ten minutes everyday. Its a good game overall and i'm buying another one for my brother because he likes it. Hope you have fun, my eye age after a week 35--- still pretty bad considering my age :)

  • Keep An "Eye" Out For This One!

More of a training program than a game, "Flash Focus" probably wouldn't appeal much to game-oriented kids or those seeking a "shooter"-type experience. It's pitch is more intellectual than most, and is based on scientific research, the application of which through the program allows you to refine and enhance visual abilities that are useful in sports, reading, and many other kinds of functional activities. Rather interactive and individualized, the program tests your eye age and then programs a variety of training activities to enhance differing visual skills; these activities vary from day to day, and you can chart your growth and progress in the areas; not bad! The sports activities include baseball, football, boxing, soccer, table tennis, volleyball and more, and you can elect just ...

  • FLASH FOCUS IS JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED

I bought this game at the suggestion of a specialist working with my young daughter, who has visual perceptual problems. She disliked the doctor's recommended therapy. She likes this game and doesn't fight me about playing it. She often plays it without even being asked. Her visual perception has improved greatly. My whole family plays it at least occasionally. It has helped all of us. The game allows for up to 4 people to keep an ongoing profile going. It tests your "eye age" and keeps track of your scores so you can see what areas you're improving in and what areas still need help. It unlocks more games as you play the game more times to keep it interesting. Some games are sports-related like football(running with the ball and dodging tackles), soccer (passing the ball to ...

  • Totally recommended DS game

I love this kind of educational brain challenging DS games, if you liked Brain Age 1 and 2 is very likely that you will like this game as well. The games are funny and help you to develop your focus abilities, which is very necessary in real life. You can make an eye check test for day and it tells you, your eye age, and when you practice you mark a stamp in the calendar just like brain age. You have to play in order to unblock more games which is a lot of fun, it has sports games as well, like baseball, table tennis, basketball and box, my favorites until now, are table tennis and baseball. I haven‘t unblock all of the games yet since I just bought it, but the games I have plaid until now are great. Thanks Nintendo DS for this kind of educational funny games!!! :)
