ve always been a pencil snob- oh!, that is so bad of me, but it ts a true statement. But, recently, I seen a video on YouTube of a graphite artist who was comparing different pencils he used for sketching. He compared mechanical/drafting pencils, expensive and inexpensive artist grade pencils, and pencils that he owned and regularly used for his art work. He was quite satisfied with the results. DT #2 pencils are perfect for any writing assignment. I prefer them over a mechanical pencil. The lead in a #2 pencil is sturdier and seems to last longer. It is also darker than lead from a mechanical pencil. I use these pencil's for note taking in class and can actually make copies. When I tried the same thing while using a mechanical pencil, almost nothing appeared on the copied page. I buy as many Dixon Ticonderoga pencil's as I can find whether on sale or not, they simply will never go out of style.DT #2 pencils are perfect for any writing assignment.
