    A simple and handy way to cook or warm.

    Even cooking temperatures, (No Hot Spots) Fast Boiling, quick cool down. Simple to operate, easy to use. Easy to clean. This unit has a cooling fan which continues to run a few seconds after shut off and is a bit noisy but effective. I had to buy a new non-stick pot and a new non-stick pan of the magnetic ferrous variety because my non stick aluminum pans don't heat using this type of induction system. My cast iron pans worked very well. I haven't used this at my dining room table yet. I am sure it would be safe there for fondues or warming since the unit itself doesn't get hot.

    A handy, well built spare burner that is a pleasure to use.

    This is a nice unit. It gives me a spare burner when I need it, and is quick heat. Of course, the pots and pans need to be steel, but that is not a big problem. I intend to use this unit heavily during the summer, to minimize the ambient room heating. This will reduce my load on the air conditioner, and save me money. There are other inductive tops with digital displays for temperature at about twice the cost. I find this to be a useless add, which makes this a very cost effective purchase. It is well built, and has been flawless, I recommend this unit! I bought several.
