    Jane Austin Ladies!!!!!

    If you love Jane Austin, you will really love this one. My only complaint is with the female lead, I just wished she wasn't always holding her mouth open and was prettier/not so homely-looking. Only because the male lead is so very handsome. BUT, after a couple of scenes, she will grow on you. Persuasion is one of my favourites, and my mother-in-law introduced me to this one--a title I had often intended to read but never got around to it before graduating high school/college and now so busy with my career. The quality was really nice, I believe I purchased from a library.

    good version of a great favorite

    Jane Austen is a favorite author and I read of this particular adaptation and had to find it. It was well packaged. I received it pretty quickly. I sat last night and very much enjoyed watching the film. Thanks.

    The best ITV Austen adaptation

    This version was made as part of the group of Austen adaptations done by ITV. I think this and the ITV Sense & Sensibility are both really excellent. The acting, particularly Sally Hawkins, is perfect. This ending is not completely faithful, but it gets the feeling right, which to me is the most important thing.
