In Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Bundle, gamers can work their way from tryouts to the finals based on the hit television show in an effort to earn a compliment from Simon Cowell himself. Beginning as just one in the crowd, gamers must select a character or add their image into the game with EyeToy camera, and then prove their vocal prowess in a series of competitions featuring 40 classic and contemporary songs. Stage presence is also judged, and gamers can unlock additional clothing and accessories to create a crowd-pleasing couture costume. After each performance, judges offer verbal feedback and give players a score. <br><br>If successful, gamers will advance to the next level. However, a bad singing session will launch the digital version of Simon into a tirade full of uplifting and helpful comments including "That sort of singing should be illegal." Working through the game, players can unlock such content as clips from the show including performances by Clay Aiken. Gamers may sing alone or compete with friends in head-to-head or team games. Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Bundle also features classic Karaoke Revolution modes of play including "Duets," "KR Challenge," "Medley," and "Quickplay," and comes packaged with a USB microphone.

Great Game, Check out These Song Titles
We have all the Karaoke Revolutions and this was is Just as Fun. Simon & Randy are there, but Paula is replaced by Laura? I think because Paula Abduls Straight Up is one of the songs, and she's probably already going to get royalties from it, is the only conclusion I could come up with. One thing they could have made better was the song selections, a lot of them are older, some even before my time, but the game was bought mostly for my 11 year old, and unfortunately she doesn't know 75% of the songs (25% I don't know either), so because of that I'm giving this a Good instead of Excellent. The Judging and Critiques are pretty funny though, and there are also video clips of singers on American Idol when you unlock them by getting Platinum and Diamonds Well On to the songs.... All My ... Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol
I bought this game because I love to sing Karaoke. I give this a "Thumbs Up", because it is fun. Although, it was too easy to win the great "American Idol Trophy" (On my first try never the less),(just had to add that). Or,hmmmmm, hey, wait! Maybe its just I'm that darn good!!! Yeah Right! Well, for whatever reason, I do like the almost realistic comments given by "Simon the Jerk", so I call him. This is one "Must Have" game to have on hand for get togethers or just to sing your heart out all alone.I bought this game because I love to sing Karaoke. I enjoyed this game very much!! It is a really fun activity to play at parties. You are able to customize the vocal settings so the original vocals can drown out the bad singers or good singers don't have to use the original vocal singers. Its a little tricky to get the hang of at first, but once you get the hang of it, It will do wonders for your voice. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO HAVE FUN OR IMPROVE YOUR VOICE, THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!!!I enjoyed this game very much!! It is a really fun activity to play at parties. Fun! Fun! Fun!
We all love this game!! I am 42, my son is 14 and I have two nieces who are 18 and 21 and we have a blast!! It is kind of fun to do "not so well" so Simon can tell you are horrible you are but then we get pretty competative too. There are a nice variety of play modes as well as a ton of characters and outfits to choose from. This game also has a nice selections of songs. My only advice is....get 2 microphones so you can go "head to head". This is a great way to spend a Friday night!!We all love this game!!
