Superb Crash Cymbal
All around, great sounding crash cymbal with a darker, full bodied, slightly complex, beautiful tone. Perfect attack, wash and medium/long decay. It's thin but not too thin.

I love this thing to death. It's a "K", it's dark, and very Steve Gadd-ish. Its has more color than a 500 crayon box of Crayolas and has so much life to it. The only step up id a Constantinople...if you have the cash. Had a great time wailing be-bop cut-time and it also swells and fades beautiful. I like the 16" K dark thin crash series more then my A Custom crash, IMO
I really love the K dark thin series. I already own the 16" k dark thin crash, it has a bright crash sound at first but settles nicely with slightly dark sounds, in fact it's just a little better then my 16" A Custom crash...So in my opinon the K dark thin series is a keeper! Now this 18 K Dark Thin crash is beautiful! But there's some differences between it and the 16. The 18 is little louder, and darker sounding. At first I wasn't sure if I would like darker sound, but it's unique sound is complex and grows on a person. It sounds even better on video, has a powerful explosive crash sound when hit hard but it also sounds nice when hit softly, so it's very responsive. But for me the 16" K dark is the best for my needs. Best advice would be try these out at the music store to make sure ... I really love the K dark thin series. I already own the 16" k dark thin crash, it has a bright crash sound at first but settles nicely with slightly dark sounds, in fact it's just a little better then my 16" A Custom crash...So in my opinon the K dark thin series is a keeper! Dark Crash
An excellent cymbal. Because it is thin, it has a dark responsive sound. Works well at controlled dynamic levels and even light ride passages. I have used this cymbal in orchestral and jazz combo work. It blends very nicely.
