      Great alternative to statins.

      Weider Red Yeast Rice lowers my cholesterol without giving me muscle cramps. When I would take statin drugs I had muscle cramps and could not tolerate them. This works great, I have been taking them instead of statins for years with great results.

      Worked for me.

      Whilst it's not a good idea to recommend "medications" to take, I can tell you that in conjunction with niacin, I lowered my cholesterol significantly. I had lowered my c. for years, and then didn't take anything for a year, and it went up. I then did a year with the two and it went back down. So I take it now. Just 2 pills a day. If you have a high c. level you will have to determine for yourself how much to take.

      Good for high cholesterol

      Has good stuff in there. I have a very hard time swallowing them, they are very large. Have to half them, and still hard to swallow. Wish they would make them easier for those of us who has this problem, otherwise great supplement.
