    The Orc King

    I love the direction he is taking the Drizzt series here. Challenging preconceived / stereotypical notions is what initially snared me into following this elf's adventures. R.A. Salvatore is taking this one step further in this series and this first book does a brilliant job of "transitioning" away from world of 2D black & white and into a more realistic 3D grey. The Icingdea... (sorry) icing on cake is the fact that it is quick-paced, action-packed, and includes well placed splashes of humor. Enjoy!

    The Orc King

    A great continuation of Drzzt!!! As long as this series endures I will buy each new book. A new story line comes out of each book in this series. I hope it never ends. Drzzt always makes you think about your own life and the correlation between you and him. Makes you think in general about your own life.
