A Very Helpful Book for Fashion Enthusiasts! See the 1920's Unfold.
Speaking as a professional costume designer and forever a student of historical fashion, this 120+ page book is a wealth of information on the roaring 20's. Since these are actual department store catalog pages from that era, the book highlights what American women and children actually wore during this period. There are hats, underthings, shoes, sportswear, house dresses and fancy dresses, as well as beach wear and boudoir negligees! It is chronologically arranged, beginning with post-war 1920 and ending with the fashions of 1929. For any serious period costumer this book is an extremely valuable resource.
