Este trabajo se realizo en la Unidad de Investigacion en Produccion Animal, Decanato de Agronomia, UCLA- Lisandro Alvarado , para evaluar dietas con 4 niveles de inclusion (0; 1,5; 3 y 4,5%) de aceite del epicarpio-mesocarpio de fruto de palma yagua (Attalea butyracea), se emplearon 4 cerdos mestizos (Landrace), alojados individualmente en jaulas metabolicas, en un diseno experimental cuadrado latino 4x4, bajo un sistema rotacional de las dietas, con periodos de 10 dias, 5 dias de adaptacion y 5 de recoleccion de heces. La digestibilidad aparente de materia seca (DAMS), proteina cruda (DAPC), fibra detergente acido y neutro (DAFDN y DAFDA), energia bruta (DAEB), hemicelulosa (DAH) ganancia de peso (GDP), consumo (C), conversion alimenticia (CONV), fueron analizados. Las dietas contenian 17,14 % PC y 59,52 % FDN. No se encontraron diferencias significativas (P>0,05) en DAMS, DAPC, DAFDN, DAEB, DAH, entre las dietas, con valores entre 73,8 y 95,5 %. La GDP, C, CONV fueron de 458,3 g, 1091,1 g y 2,613 kg, respectivamente, sin diferencias significativas (P>0,05) entre niveles de inclusion de aceite del epicarpio-mesocarpio de fruto de palma yagua.
