El control biologico surge como alternativa, y dentro de los posibles controladores biologicos se encuentra Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) dominando el 90% del mercado mundial de bioplaguicidas. La investigacion en este controlador microbial avanza aceleradamente en el mundo y continuamente se estan buscando nuevos aislamientos en condiciones naturales.
